Gordon Davison was an engineer – analytical, inventive and technically-minded. Peter Lockey was a marketeer – intuitive, creative and playful. They’re the two sides of Berghaus. The left brain and the right brain. They loved climbing mountains together, and wanted to get more people outdoors. This simple idea blossomed into a business. The rest is history.

Today, in the spirit of our founders, we’re still doing exactly what they set out to do.
