The duel on Ganryujima was a famous battle between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki, as seen on the traditional Samurai leather patch. It is one of the most well-known and talked about battles in Japanese history, fought by two of the most famous samurai ever to live. It would be no exaggeration to say that the history of their leather patches really began with this battle.
These are based on their S510XX regular straight, the first model released by Samurai Jeans, but have been bumped up here to 25oz for their 25th anniversary. The double stitching inspired by the Musashi school that uses two swords, and the single stitching representing the the one-sword style employed by Kojiro, paying homage to that classic duel so long ago.
