The highly anticipated Wide Straight cut by Pure Blue Japan is one of the more exciting developments coming from the PBJ camp this year. The new fit was developed after hearing customer feedback for an even more relaxed cut than their classic -003 Regular Straight silhouette. Across the board, the new -002 Wide Straight cut features a longer set of rises, wider leg, and little to no taper in the leg. 

Like many of Pure Blue Japan's jeans, the fabric is produced on a low-tension shuttle loom, thus featuring the slubby and hairy feeling fabric common to Pure Blue Japan denim. The production of these jeans are constant throughout every year in several different batches because the production output of the fabric is very limited.

The uniqueness of the slubby denim fabric, coupled with the small-scale production method, make these perfect-fitting jeans by Pure Blue Japan a true classic.
